Eddie & Lisa's Musical Beginnings
Eddie, a Louisiana native, picked up his
first guitar at age five and discovered the dobro at eighteen. His passion led
him to learn from legendary mentor Uncle Josh Graves, shaping his distinctive
sound. Over the years, Eddie performed alongside icons like Mike Aldridge at
the TSGA Jamboree for 7 consecutive years and spent 17 years playing with
Carroll Benoit and the Bayou Country Bluegrass Band. His style reflects decades
of dedication to the craft and deep roots in Bluegrass tradition.
Lisa, from Ohio, began her musical
journey at ten with piano lessons gifted by her grandmother. Surrounded by a
family that lived and breathed music, she taught herself guitar and honed her
skills under Roger Hoard until high school graduation. Lisa toured with her
family band, The Rawson Family, for eight years, earned a music scholarship in
vocal and instrumental education, and later performed across the Bluegrass
circuit with her late husband for over a decade in the band Timber Ridge. She
now teaches music privately for her profession.
